This vintage Bakelite brooch was carved from lovely chocolate brown colored Bakelite. It has an oval shape that measures 3 1/2" by 2 1/8". The brooch has been decorated with five beautifully executed flower and leaf inspired c
arvings.
The brooch has its original rollover "c" clasp that is in perfect working order and stays closed when worn.
The brooch is approximately 1/4" thick and weighs 34 grams.
The brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were seen.
