Description

This vintage Bakelite brooch was carved from lovely chocolate brown colored Bakelite. It has an oval shape that measures 2 7/8" by 1 5/8". The brooch has been decorated with three beautifully executed flower carvings flanked by leaf inspired c
arvings. Open work carving adds dimension to the lovely carved design.
The brooch has its original rollover "c" clasp that is in perfect working order and stays closed when worn.
The brooch is approximately 1/4" thick and weighs 19 grams.
The brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were seen.
