Vintage Bakelite White & Black hair stick pin cocktail stirrer clock arrow 4"

Vintage Bakelite item.
so, I don't actually know what it's proper use is.
Is it a hair stick?  or a cocktail stirrer, or ready to become a clock arrow?  a shirt stay?  you decide!
just barely 4" long.  beautiful colors with pearl texturing - you get one white and one gray/black.  I tried a pair in my hair and it worked fine.
If you purchase you get 2 sticks (meaning you get a pair).  Each one of these is slightly different, so they won't be an exact match.
This is an unused, but salvage item.  Rescued from a factory that got flooded in hurricane Sandy in the NYC area.  It spent at least several weeks under water.  I have hand washed it with soap and water.
