This adorable vintage Bakelite dog brooch was carved from a a lovely shade of emerald green colored Bakelite.
The brooch has its original roll-over "c" clasp that is in perfect working order and stays closed when worn.
This super cute "scottie dog" brooch measures approximately two inches from the tip of its raised ear to the tip of its tail. The brooch is approximately 1/4" thick and weighs 11 grams.
This pup is in need of a good home. It is super cute design that appears to depict the dog sitting and scratching its ear with one paw. I love the way the artist has its other ear raised and the cute expression on its face...priceless! :)
The brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were seen.
