GORGEOUS Vintage Butterscotch Bakelite Elliptical Brooch! Floral Carvings!!

Description

This lovely vintage rose inspired Bakelite brooch was probably originally carved from an ivory or off white colored Bakelite. Over the years since it was carved, the patina of the brooch has matured to its current lovely butterscotch color.
Be sure to enlarge the photos so that you can get a good idea of the intricacy of the floral inspired carvings. Amazing work!!
The brooch measures 4 1/4" long and 1 1/4" wide.
The brooch's pin is original to the piece and has a roll-over "c" clasp that is in good working order and stays closed when worn.
The brooch weighs 15 grams. No chips or cracks were noted and the brooch tested positive for Bakelite with Simichrome polish. (See photo #10).
