c1950 Use and Care of Your Gas Range, published Gas & Electric Co. Baltimore Maryland. 16 pages, soft cover booklet. Contains everything you would need to know to use your new gas oven, including all the settings, equipment for use, the various racks, lower your costs, and a temperature chart for cooking various foods. Plus there are cooking hints, and suggestion of all the things you can use gas for in your home: cooking, refrigeration, water heating, and house heating. It is in very good condition, although there is a bit of food residue on the cover, front and back. Otherwise the surface is in good shape with no loss of paper, the edges and corners are sound. The interior pages are slightly yellowed, but are all intact with no tears or holes. Please see all of the photos above.

It is a soft cover booklet and it has a color cover.  It measures  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (21.6 cm X 14 cm.)
This instruction booklet tells you everything you would need to know to use your new gas oven.  It shows you how to use all the settings, all the equipment you need for cooking, how to set the various racks, tips on how to lower your cost of cooking, how to clean your new range, and a temperature chart for cooking various foods.
What follows next are cooking hints for how to boil and stew food, roasting tips, deep fat frying, broiling, baking cakes, pies and pudding's, and baking bread.
The last page gives a list of additional cookbooks for purchase from the gas and electric company. And the back cover has an ad for all the things you can use gas for in your home: cooking, refrigeration, water heating, and house heating.
Finally there is an insert in the cookbook for using your oven to do slow and fast cooking. This is especially aimed toward cooking various meats.  Also included is a temperature guide for cooking various foods such as meats, bread, cookies, cakes, pies, etc.
All this in only 20 pages (including the insert.).
