This Bakelite and Lucite back carved, laminated and hand painted aquarium fish bowl bar pin dangle pin brooch was designed, carved, laminated, reverse carved, hand painted, and signed by me, G. Paul. This colorful hand painted and carved, reverse carved and laminated multi-color vintage bakelite and clear Vintage Lucite reversed carve aquarium pin nicely depicting reverse carved and handpainted sea life such as coral, fish, sea urchins, clams, and bubbles. This wonderful reverse carve fish bowl lucite and bakelite brooch is guaranteed to be carved from vintage bakelite and it did test positve with Simichrome Polish prior to carving, laminating, sanding and polishing, so, may need to re-oxidize. The bar, the top and bottom surround of the aquarium are all carved and laminated vintage bakelite, the clear fish bowl itself is carved, reverse carve and hand painted with enamel paints vintage lucite.
