1986 Yamaha VMAX Motorcycle in Good Condition Cruiser/Sport Bike VMX1200
I'm selling my 1986 Yamaha VMAX. It works well and is a good cross country cruiser with a lot of power. I have personally driven this bike to San Antonio and back so it is definitely capable of adventures, especially in the summer time.
I am pretty sure the VMAX needs no introduction, but this model was produced by Yamaha from 1985 to 2007. It has a 145 hp 1198CC Liquid Cooled DOHC V4, so this bike has a ridiculous amount of power. It is really fast.
This VMAX has been mine for 16 years. Let me tell you about it....
-- It Runs Well, but does need to use the choke to get it going.
-- It has 41541 miles as of today
-- The Engine is all original
-- It still has the original Maroon factory paint job, but there are scratches on it.
-- It has highway pegs installed
-- The Battery is new this year
-- The tires have only a few hundred miles on them
-- It has a sissy bar installed
-- It is a great cruiser and can easily take a passenger
-- It has a clean NJ title
-- I have a bunch of extras to include with it (Saddle Bags, Cover, Tender, etc.)
