    Description

    For your consideration, a ca. 1900s butterscotch bakelite rose brooch.  Features deep realistic carvings with petal, leaf and pierced openwork stem details.  A superb early example of this often seen design.  Nice texture and dimensionality.
    Measures 2" l x 1 1/4" t and 1/2" thick at largest points.  Has open c clasp closure which is sound.  In nice vintage condition, no chips or cracks.
    This item has been simichrome polish tested to verify it is authentically bakelite.
    A more unusual style... would make a perfect gift for a bakelite enthusiast!
